Game no. 102
The Butterfly
Objective: Practice Hebrew vocabulary, 5 senses and verbs
Suitable for Grades: K-2nd
Playing Time: 5-7 minutes
Materials: none
Grouping/Organization: Large group
How to play: One student is the "Butterfly". The "butterfly" needs to "fly" in the room and say a sentence in Hebrew, for example: "I'm flying and I see a table". All the students need then to run toward the object he called and touch it.
The first one to do so becomes the new "butterfly".
Variations: Ask the students to use their 5 senses in a sentence, for example: "I'm flying in the room and I taste an apple... etc. Also, the students can use different verbs in Hebrew, for example, instead of "flying" they can use "running", "standing", "dancing"... and more.
